A divided state Court of Appeals panel ruled Thursday that Michigan’s right-to-work law applies to roughly 35,000 unionized state employees — a decision that is a blow to organized labor. Lidstrom: It's a 'tremendous honor' to have number retired by Detroit Red Wings. That his No. 5 would be retired by the Wings never was in doubt. Few players embody greatness like Lidstrom, who is considered one of the best defensemen to play the game. His exemplary play coupled with his professionalism and politeness off the ice earned him the nickname “the Perfect Human” from teammates. http://on.freep.com/12UmA1E
