SVSU administrator Mark Potts announces bid for Jim Stamas' State House seat in 2014. Mark Potts, the assistant dean of the College of Business and Management at Saginaw Valley State University, formally announced his candidacy June 26. "Growing up and raising my family here, I value the people and resources it offers," Potts said. "I ask you to join me in working to preserve what we hold dear and realize its full potential.
